The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will present In Full Bloom, featuring the American Repertory Ballet, Saturday, March 23, at 8:00 pm. The performance is part of the Theatre’s Major Artists series. Tickets cost $25 and $35.

Don’t miss this chance to taste the diversity of American Repertory Ballet’s delicious repertory.

ARB Artistic Director Douglas Martin tackles Stravinsky’s influential and provocative score, The Rite of Spring, on the centennial of its controversial premiere and offers a twist on the ballet’s ceremonial pagan sacrifice narrative.

The ballet is both a celebratory ode to the advent of spring and a statement on the theme of ritualistic behavior and sacrifice.

ARB also will perform a new work by former Joffrey Ballet dancer Patrick Corbin, who is known for his athletic contemporary choreography.

Also on the bill: Five Men and a Concerto, a charming and virtuosic work by ARB Resident Choreographer Mary Barton.

To purchase tickets or for additional information, contact the Box Office, 908-725-3420, or order online at www.rvccArts.org. Senior citizen, student and group discounts are also available for a variety of performances.

RVCC’s main campus is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, New Jersey.
