This 3.1 mile race (it’s walker friendly, too) is a great way to launch your new fitness program or continue your emphasis on a fit lifestyle. Either way, join the healthy fun on New Year’s Day, 2013.
The Resolution Run 5K is held in centrally located Hillsborough Township in Somerset County, New Jersey at the Hillsborough Municipal Building. It’s a low-key, fun celebration of the New Year for all levels of runners and walkers. You can even stay up late the night before for your own celebration and then participate in the run on Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013, at the civilized time of 11:00 am.
The event and the course is USA Track & Field-NJ Sanctioned and Certified. USATF-NJ members can earn points in the 2013 Grand Prix competition.
The race is being timed with the "D" Chip by Compuscore, NJ’s foremost timing and finish line coordinator. Finish times and placements will be available immediately after the race and official results will also be available within hours at the Compuscore website.
There will be awards and refreshments after you cross the finish Line. All participants will receive a quality, custom designed long sleeve HOODY sweatshirt as well as a Finisher's Ribbon.
The event is a project of the Resolutions For Others Foundation. Established in 2001, the Hillsborough based Foundation is registered as a charitable, nonprofit corporation with the State of New Jersey.
